Feb 16, 2008 - A new arrival!

Hey all,

We just wanted to let everyone know that our search for a new drummer has come to a satisfactory conclusion--we're happy to welcome Jonathan Simon into the band! Jonathan comes to us (once again) via the amazing Craigslist, and boasts some serious chops to go with a seriously funny sense of humor--just the kind of mix we like. We're very excited about his arrival, and think you'll agree that he was the right man for the job when you hear him for yourselves. We'll have a series of new shows listed soon, along with information about the work on our second album--but for now, thanks as always for your support, and we'll see you at a show soon!

Dec 30, 2007 - Happy holidays to all!

We hope everyone out there in music listening land is doing well. We're putting the finishing touches on what was a great year for us: officially releasing our first album DRIFT (and you can still get it on our site!), seeing reviews (and sales) from all over the world, hearing our stuff played on radio stations (it's not Billboard yet, but one step at a time!), completing our first video, and of course having the chance to meet up with a lot of you in various gigs throughout the year. Next year looks equally promising--we've started work on our second album, which we hope to release sometime in 2008, and have recorded an interview which will be released sometime next month. We plan to release our first video soon as well.

Our other band related news is of the sadder variety: Sean, our drummer, is leaving the band for mostly time-related reasons. Sean had a great run with The Road, and brought a great sense of humor AND rhythm to the band; we're sorry to see him go, but obviously wish him all the best and will keep in touch. We've already started the process of finding a new drummer, and expect to have an announcement about that in the next month or so. We will be working on bringing the new drummer up to speed and putting together the new album over the next two months, and plan to hit the gig circuit again in March.

We will of course continue to give regular updates on this site and through our mailing list on all of this, so please continue to check this site and spread the word to friends and family. Most of all, please accept our thanks for making this a great year; we couldn't do what we do without you, and genuinely appreciate your support. We're looking forward to a great 2008, and wish all of you a great new year. See you then!

Oct 29, 2007 - Thanks, and a look ahead...

Hey all,

We hope all is well--we just wanted to drop all of you a quick note thanking you and updating you on what is going on with us:

1. Work is almost finished on our first "theatrical" video, which is of our song "Yellow Wood." We hope to premiere it sometime next month on YouTube and elsewhere...if anyone knows of a good multimedia-type club which might be a good option for a live premiere show, we'd love to hear from you!

2. We played two shows over the past two months at The Cantab in Boston and The Underscore in New York City, both of which were a great time...we hope to have live footage from those shows available soon. We really want to thank everyone for coming to check us out in both venues--you guys make what we do worth doing, and we hope you'll keep spreading the word about us in the coming months.

3. We're continuing to work on marketing and selling DRIFT, which continues to get good reviews from the press...more reviews should be coming from several progressive newsletters and magazines within the next month. If you know of a place which might be interested in reviewing our album, please let us know!
